A Sister in Christ

A sister is a precious thing, to cherish hold and love.

The one in Christ will sacrifice, she’s sent from God above.

She’ll hold your hand through thick and thin and help you on your way,

She’ll bear your load on the weary road, ever your guide and stay.

And as you travel down that path to reach your heavenly home,

She’ll be your friend to the very end, when earth no more you roam.

Oh yes, a sister’s ever there, your joys and cares she’ll gladly share,

She is a gift from God, you see,

My sister’s always there for me.

Nancy is the wife of Bill Goring, gospel preacher for the Chipman Road church of Christ. She has 4 children, 11 grandchildren and has taught Bible class for over 40 years, published several books including: Behavior Becoming Holiness: Studies in Titus Chapter 2 and Overcoming our Self-Imposed Prisons.
